Met Jack many many years ago when he & Irma moved into the apartments where Jessie was living. As a MOW volunteer at Elkins Senior Center, I was a friend to all of them. Jack was a big supporter of the center, often contributing some of his “special” shirts for fund-raising events. He made my granddaughter & I matching shirts with our picture. Loved “Hillbilly Jack” & am sad when I pass his apartment each week, but I am glad he is now without pain.
