I’m saddened to read the news of Jimmy’s passing. Such a kind soul to me. I met Jimmy and Mary at Ozark Bowling Lanes back in the early 70’s. I was in college, with a new family and working my way through….. I’m sure I had an ego bigger than a bowling ball, but Mary and Jimmy were always friendly and had such a good attitude on life. It made a difference to me because so many people came in front of that desk without saying a word except shoe size. But Jimmy and Mary always had a friendly “hello” and a smile on their face.
I haven’t seen either one of them since I graduated and moved away in 1974. But I’ll always see their smile. And I’ll never tell who was the better bowler! ha!
