James “Jim” McIntosh Robertson, 91, of Fayetteville passed away May 5, 2018 in Fayetteville. He was born December 23, 1926 in Nashville, TN. to Oliver and Mary McIntosh Robertson.
He was a veteran of the United States Marines. Jim worked as a printer in a print shop.
He is survived by his spouse, Sammy Boyd Robertson of the home; a daughter, Christina Smith (Jay) of Fayetteville; a brother, Bill Robertson of Knoxville, TN; and 2 grandsons; Shelby and Colton Smith of Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 11, 2018 at Beard’s Chapel. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the funeral home.
I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family for the loss of your dear Jim. I hope that you will find comfort in the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29 where he promised that the day is coming when he is going to resurrect back to life those in the grave. Until then, it is just like they are sleeping. (John 11:11-13) May your family draw strength from Jehovah, the God of all Comfort.
