James “Jim” Neill, a resident of Fayetteville, AR passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 69. He was born to Theodore Frank and Loretta Delores Neill in Pittsburgh, PA on August 15, 1953.
Jim was a giant. With a small stature, his heart and presence filled every room he occupied. Everyone stood up straighter, spoke a little softer, and had more compassion when he was around. A tradition we will all do well to follow.
Jim worked in the building industry most of his life building beautiful homes for families to create a lifetime of memories in. He loved what he did and brought many families happiness.
On October 10, 2015 Jim married the love of his life, Casey, who survives. He is also survived by his loving children, Daniel (Jennifer), Matthew and Tyler, all of Fayetteville and Samantha of Denver, CO; grandson, James Daniel Neill; and brothers, Donald Neill and Theodore Neill.
Jim made the world a better place. He left it better than he found it and he did it out of love.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday, January 13, 2023 at Beard’s Chapel.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Beard’s Chapel with Josh Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Dowell Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Please also note, we will have a potluck after the graveside service at our home at 888 N Cato Springs Road, Fayetteville, AR 72701.

Jim will be missed dearly. He was a dead friend of my late father Charles “big Charlie” and after his passing Jim checked in on my family and myself many times over the years. He truly loved his wife and family! My prayers go to the Casey and the kids.
