James Thomas Shaffer, 73, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 in Springdale. He was born November 25, 1946 in Pensacola, FL to James and Dorothy Raines Shaffer, Sr.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. James was a retired mechanic for Allen Canning Company. He enjoyed woodworking and tending to his yard.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Barber Shaffer of the home; two sons, Thomas James Shaffer of Siloam Springs and Clifford Lee Shaffer of Springdale; and three grandchildren, Stephen Andrew Shaffer, Arabella Grace Shaffer and Adalynn Nicole Shaffer.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.

Still can’t believe your gone even now.We will miss you very much for being my friend,my bro-in- law to being in this family for so long over 50 years.I will miss your turkey at thanksgiving to you still calling me Susie after all these years.You were so sick for so long and no one could take the pain away.Rest in peace and just know you are loved and will be missed and not forgotten.Love and Miss You Always!!
