Jerry was one of my sergeants at Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office at Temple Station. I enjoyed working for Jerry and found he was an excellent carpenter when he remodeled our station kitchen.

Rest in Peace. Lot of memories of Jerry while we worked at Pico Rivera. One memory of Jerry is when we went to Rio Hondo College during student unrest. Great Sergeant. I won’t go into details but many out there know what happened. Price family take care and God Bless. We lived very near to the Price family in Chino, Ca, and still do!
Lt. Price! I remember you when I first got out of the academy and went to BC! You were on the “tough” Lt’s!! 🙂 As a young female deputy, I just looked up to you as someone very important, and you always had the right thing to say!!! I’m glad I knew you, even though I was always looking up. I was at BC in 1992, and I believe you retired shortly after I transferred. Prayers to your wonderful family!! 🙂
Just wanted to state that Jerry was a fine man and a good deputy sheriff. He was a friend. I worked around him for several years at San Dimas Station, so I know that he was a good worker and employee. Jerry and I are both from Arkansas. If I remember correctly you lived around the corner from me in Chino, CA. Sorry for your loss, never thought that I would out live him.
When you met Jerry it was like he could have been one of your childhood buddies, You felt like you could identify with this fella on every level. He was a family man and wasn’t embarrassed to tell you of his pride and love for them., He loved hunting, well he loved life and lived it to the full. I have so many memories of the good work we did in patrol and of the times we found humor. Everyone liked this man, and he had everyone’s respect. He will be remembered and missed.
I’ll miss Jerry. We spent many a time together while working together on the Sheriff’s Department. Jerry and I attended the academy together and our oaths crossed many times in the ensuing years. Always quick with a story and a smile, Jerty was very special to me. I know he has left huge holes in many of our hearts.
I’ll miss his memorial service bit will be there in spirit from here in Missouri.
