Joann Thompson passed away on January 4, 2017. She was born April 19, 1955. She was the daughter of Marvin and Blanche Keller of Bethesda, Arkansas.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Lee Kennedy of Fayetteville, AR; a brother, Jerry Keller of Batesville, AR; and a niece, Belynda Ann Hagar of Batesville.
She has slipped the surly bonds of earth and touched the Face of God.
Services will be private.
Memorials may be made to the Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview St, Fayetteville, AR. 72703.
Cremation arrangements by Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

I am so sorry for your loss. Joann was a beautiful woman inside and out. I grew up in Meadow Heights and have known Joann personally as well as through my office. She fought a hard fight. I so admired her strength. God bless you all.

I was so saddened to hear about Joann. I know she fought a long hard battle and there is peace in knowing her struggles are over. Joann and I grew up together at Bethesda and was my first friend when we started first grade together. She was a beautiful person inside and out and even though we had not kept in contact in later years, I will always have a special place in my heart for her. I have been flooded with so many memories since I heard of her death. Jerry and Mary Lee, please know that yall and the rest of the family are in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of Joann’s passing. I have known her since school days in Batesville. Although our paths did not often cross over the years, she is remembered fondly. An awesome lady with a beautiful smile and caring spirit. I pray God’s comfort and blessings to JoAnn’s family and friends at this sad time.
To JoAnn’s family, I am so sorry for your loss. JoAnn was a very good friend growing up & going to school with. She was a very sweet girl to everyone she met. She is now at piece & in no more pain. I will keep her family in my thoughts & prayers at such a sad time for you all.
I was in high school with JoAnn and am sorry to hear of her passing. I know her family will miss her, but she deserves a relief from the horrible disease she was burdened with a for so long.
