Joseph Ernest Smith, 57, of Fayetteville, AR. was born on February 13, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio. He passed away March 14, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Joseph Smith and his mother, Eloise Elizabeth Goodman of Cleveland, Ohio.
Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his fiancé and caregiver, Diana Potts of Fayetteville; his sisters, Debbie and Stacy Smith; his brothers, James and Vincent Smith; 3 stepsons; and 14 grandchildren.
Joseph was loved by everyone he met. He was very outgoing and could light-up any room that he walked into. What he really enjoyed was spending time with the grandkids and spoiling them shopping; and he made sure that he always looked good himself. Joseph made sure he always looked nice and neat no matter what. He had a huge heart and would give someone the shirt off his back if they needed it. He never met a stranger.
We love you Joseph, you may be gone but will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2018 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
My heart goes out to you Joseph. You always had us laughing when we would visit you and we would always leave with a smile on our face. It won’t be the same without you and you are definitely going to be missed. I’m glad I got to be a part of your life Joseph. We love you!! “Keepin’ It Real”.
