Karen Jeanette Gatlin, 59, of Bethel Heights passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at her home. She was born May 15, 1957 in Waco, TX. to Harold and Shirley Combs Gatlin.
She worked in logistics at Sam’s Club. Karen graduated from MacArthur High School in Irving, TX; graduated from Executive Secretarial College in Dallas, TX; and was a member of Grace Pointe Church in Irving, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Shirley Gatlin; and brother, Bryan Keith Gatlin.
Karen is survived by her stepmother, Kay Gatlin of Fayetteville; daughter, Jennifer Carbonero and husband, Joey of Bethel Heights; brother, Ken Gatlin and wife, Darla of Fayetteville; 2 granddaughters, Alyssa and Kyrstyn; 3 nieces, Aimee, Krystal and Nicki; 1 nephew, Kyle; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Beard’s Chapel with Ed Gatlin officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Comfort Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the funeral home.
