Kenneth Carver, age 85, of Fayetteville, AR passed from this life on Saturday, February 13, 2021. He was born in Vanceburg, Kentucky to Bonnie and Frank Carver. In January of 1968, while a gunny sergeant in the Marine Corps, he married a young widow, Anna Breon Waters, with two children, Randy and Gale. Their daughter, Holly Carver, came along later that year. After 23 years of service he retired from the U.S. Marine Corps, he and family eventually moved to Arkansas. He served several years for the West Fork City Council while being the proprietor of Carver Custom Cabinets and Furniture (Work Haven Oaks).
Preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Faye Beckett, and Diane Leach, daughter, Gale Mills, and granddaughter, Hali Paschal.
Survivors include the love of this life, his wife of 53 years, Anna “Sally” Carver, Randy and Denise Waters, Holly Carver and Tish Willhite, Ralph and Pam Mills, and Palika and Jim Morse. Eight grandchildren and (spouses): Anna (Daniel), Dustin (Kendall), Dasha (Daniel), Dylan, Carli (Tyler), Zachary, Jacob and Daniel. Ten great-grandchildren (in birth order): Brooklyn, Colton, Miles, Callen, Boone, Madelyn, Jed, Laedyn, Gracelyn, and William. He is survived also by his brothers: Sammy, Gayle, and Paul Carver and sister, Sue Pigg, all of Ohio.
Kenneth Carver was a good man, a great husband, a loving father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
