Ladema Marie Gooding (Momma Dee), 94, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020 in Fayetteville. She was born August 16, 1926 in Sonora, AR to Clyde and Deborah Ann Graham Harp.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles “JR” Gooding; a brother, Lewis Harp; and three sisters, Marcell West, Lucille Lane and Marilyn Ledbetter.
Momma Dee was an avid hunter and loved being on the farm. One garden was never enough, and the canned tomatoes are still being enjoyed today. She was loved deeply by her family and she will forever be missed.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Sherrill and husband, Anthony of Fayetteville and Pat Stevens of Fayetteville; 4 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, August 31, 2020 at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Open visitation will be from 8:00 AM until noon on Monday at the funeral home.
