My Uncle Larry was such an awesome man. He was a loving son, to his Mother, a wonderful brother, and the best Dad ever. He loved his family. I am his favorite niece! We spent a lot of time together. Larry really liked my husband John. They were great buddies. We would talk weekly, and see each other at least twice a year. You will be greatly missed, but I know you are with your beloved beautiful wife Kathy, and that puts a smile on my face. Fly high Uncle Larry.

My father left this world in the same way he came in…..with a bang. He is with my mother dancing and neither one of them are in pain anymore. I love you both and will be with you when the Lord says its my time. He has passed on a family full of characters with a passion for life and adventure. Now he is on the biggest adventure of his life. I will miss you.

With great sorrow we face the loss of our dear brother in law.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. Larry was a great person and we will miss him.
Dad, did not do things the way the world wanted him too. He called things the way he saw them. He was his own boss so he would never have to compromise his ethics to move up the corporate ladder. He kept himself free from debt, free from 9 to 5 jobs, and free of worldly commitments so he could always be free to give his time, resources and passion to his Wife, Family and Friends. He was the most giving person I have ever known. Dad loved all of his family including extended family on both sides. He loved God and silently prayed everyday so he would not appear to be boastful in the eyes of the world, Dad loved grilled cheese, oysters, boiled peanuts, beer, telling jokes, day trips with a pound of bologna, cheese and crackers to somewhere the family had never been before. He took short cuts that would take us three hours out of the way because Dad didn’t care about the destination as much as he cared about the good times getting there. That was the way Dad lived his life, he enjoyed a life long short cut all they way to his final destination.
Thanks to you Dad the life long short cut to all of our final destinations have been blessed,
I Love you Dad.
Larry Waller I am so sorry I just saw your dad’s obit. I will never forget him. He was a good man. Always helping others. Prayers for you and your family. Cynthia McClanahan
