Lee Andrew (Bubba) Downs was born on October 13, 1946 in Texarkana, Arkansas.  Lee was the youngest of seven children.  He passed away on October 15, 2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 71.  Lee is to be laid to rest with honors at the DFW National Cemetery November 10, 2017 at 10am in Grand Prairie, Texas.  He had been a resident of Arkansas for the last 15 years. Lee served in the US Navy from 1964 to 1968.  He was the father of four children, Christine Tryon, Sandi Netherland , Dallas Mosley and Damon Downs.

Preceded in death by his father, Boyd T. Downs; mother and stepfather, Mocille and James D. Cornman; and sisters, Marietta Martinedale and Kathy Clark.

Survived by three brothers, Thomas M. Downs, Fred B. Downs and Boyd M. Downs; and one sister, Jackie Knight.
