Lena Mae Triplett, 93, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away on January 18, 2025. She was born on January 2, 1932 in Roe, Arkansas to Ellis Yates and Edith Clark Yates.

Lena married Kenneth Skelton and they had three children: Carol Ann, Kathy, and Darrell. After Kenneth’s death, she moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas, where she met Bill Rood. They married and had one son, Larry. After their divorce in 1971, she met the love of her life, Danie Triplett in 1974. The couple married in 1978 and Lena gained two bonus daughters: Terri and Tami. Lena and Danie shared love, laughter, and many memories for 46 years. In her life, Lena was a housewife, bookkeeper, and truck driver.

She was preceded in death by her husband Danie Triplett; daughter Carol Pruiett; son-in-law John Pruiett; and son Darrel Skelton.

She is survived by her daughter Kathy Hallman (husband Johnny); son Larry Rood (wife Jeri); and stepdaughters Tami Laurin and Terri Bates. Lena is also survived by four grandchildren: Renee Birchfield (husband Parker), Jessica Rood (fiancé Alex Stillwell), Shane Bates, and Ava Laurin.
