Lillian Parker, age 86, of Fayetteville, died peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 14, 2020.  She was born in Elkins, Arkansas on October 27, 1933, and was the daughter of Jim and Leona Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Calvin Moore; one sister, Mildred Bell; and her only daughter, Joyce Dawson.

Lillian was a great friend, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and Nanny. She was always ready to have fun.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, Berl Dean Bell of Elkins; son-in-law, James Dawson of Bentonville; two granddaughters, Jamie Dawson Kinsey and husband Brian of Centerton and Joie Dawson Bray and husband Eddie of Bentonville; four great-grandchildren, Emma Kinsey, Bowen Kinsey, James Bray and June Bray; nieces, Cindy Moore of Rogers and Debra Hull and husband Dean of Elkins; nephew, Darrell Bell and wife Sherry of Elkins; and several great- nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, July 17, 2020 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville with the funeral service being held immediately afterward at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor James Longmate officiating.  Burial will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.

    Two beautiful granddaughters and their families…..this Grandmother was a dear friend, always wanting and willing to help anyway she could if only to hold your hand. Bill and I miss you, but our loss is Heaven’s gain..Prayers and love to Jamie and Joie and their families. May God be with all of you during this time.

    I sure do miss my good sweet friend Lillian. She had a smile to light up everyone’s day. She was so proud of her granddaughters who took such good care of her. My thoughts and prayers are with you Jamie and Joie, and all the family.
