Linda Carol Ward, 67, of Fayetteville, died April 19, 2021 at Washington Regional Hospital. She was born July 18, 1953 in Batesville, AR to Orville Coy and Syble Gay Girtman.
Linda enjoyed taking pictures, gospel music but mostly cooking for her family and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Girtman.
She is survived by her husband, Cliff Ward of the home; one son, Chad Riley and wife Donna of Welling, OK; stepson, Richard Ward; three brothers, Charles Girtman of Eagle Lake, TX, Duaine Girtman of Cave City, AR and Gaylan Girtman of Batesville, AR; and one sister, Regina Weve of Mt Hope, KS.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel with Preston Beeks and Davie Ketcher officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 23, 2021 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
So sorry, Linda was a long time friend! She was a wonderful person. She will be missed but I know she is in Heaven! Love you, my friend

Linda and I were classmates at Cave City School. She was a friend and a wonderful person.

You will be deeply missed I love you so much. I couldn’t have asked for a for a better mom. She always loved me unconditional and would do anything to help me. You were my strength when I didn’t have any you were always no matter what there for me. I will miss you so much. Through all the rough times I had you always stuck beside me and never backed up.
