Lisa Ann Gonzales, 61, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 12, 1961 in Huntsville, AR to Leonard and Velma Wilburn Roth.

Lisa is at peace after a long, hard battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years, Cedric “Gonzo” Gonzales whom she met in Chetopa, KS; two sisters, Mary Bohn and LouAda Wall; and a grandson, Taylor Shawn.

Lisa was a caring, loving nurse for 32 years until her retirement in 2018. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her world revolved around her family and friends. She would help anyone in need. Her hobbies included gardening and fishing with Gonzo.

She is survived by her children, Jeremy Gonzales (Brandi) of Fayetteville, AR, Jessica Gonzales (Dustin Sullivan) of Claremore, OK, and Joshua Gonzales (TeAnn Borrego) of Catoosa, OK; 20 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements by Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at the community center in Chetopa, KS.
