Loquita Harrison, 73, of West Fork went to be with the Lord and her loving husband, Monday, April 10, 2017 at her home. She was born February 5, 1944 in Winslow to Floyd and Jo VanBrunt Landelius.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Doil Malone; her husband and the love of her life, Melvin Harrison; 2 daughters, Patty and Tywana Coker; 3 brothers, Edward, Elbert and Wade Landelius; 3 grandchildren; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jess and Reba Harrison.
She is survived by 2 sons, Shane and Kirk Harrison, both of West Fork; 2 daughters, Candy Steele of West Fork and Penny Borgerding and husband, Mike of West Fork; 3 sisters, Marlene Keeton and husband, Bill of Fayetteville, Bernice Stolz and husband, Mike of Springdale and Velta Word of Greenland; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly.
Funeral services will 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Beard’s Chapel with Stacy Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Baptist Ford Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the funeral home.
RIP Loquita, you have made such a great impact on so many. We all love you, and will be forever greatful. Too all the family, sorry for your loss, yet she is not in pain. She will always be looking over everyone, and guiding you throughout life.
