What a wonderful woman of God. I was blessed to know her and be able to visit her and pray on many occasions
Lorene was dedicated to the Lord and always an encouragement to those around her. She leaves a powerful testimony
of God’s faithfulness. I am honored to know her and be a Pastor to her daughter Elaine. Great family!
When I first met Lorene I thought to myself this is the real deal. A true saint! It didnt take long for my spirit to become one with hers. I truly enjoyed visiting with her she always had a story to tell me! She loved my son just like he was one of hers. This isnt good bye but see you later!
Such a wonderful lady and family. I know you are all grieving. You are much in my prayers and may the Holy Spirit do what He is so good at doing and that is to bring comfort.

Aunt Lorene was always special to me. I am glad I got to know her better in the past few years since I moved to Arkansas. I always enjoyed my talks with her and asking questions. I considered her to be a true Christian and always godly lady. My condolences to Dewayne, Leon, and Elaine and the many others who loved and knew her as family.
Sincerely,
So sorry for your loss, Lorene was a very special person and always so kind and made the Best Chicken and Dumplings in the whole world. My Prayers are with you Dewayne, Elaine and Leon, also all the Grandkids. Gayle Parker and Hope Matthews

I live in the Brannon Mountain area and had the honor of meeting Mrs. Provence while she was hospitalized at Washington Regional. I enjoyed hearing her stories of growing up in the Brannon Mt area and how things were back in her day. I have so much respect for people like Mrs Provence who knew how to make a living from the land and to make that living worthwhile. Salt of the earth as my grandmother would say. As I hike the hills and hollers of Brannon, I will always think of Mrs. Provence and how much she loved these same hills. Thank you Mrs Provence for sharing your memories with me and Rest In Peace,
Elaine, so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Prayers for comfort for you and your family during this difficult time.
