Madeline “Mitzi” Ann Stockalper, 85, of Tontitown Arkansas, passed away on Sunday June 16, 2024. She was born on July 18, 1938 in San Diego, California.
She was raised in Ramona California by Eleanor and Ralph Stephen. She met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Stockalper in her senior year of high school. Mitzi graduated from Ramona High School in 1956 and married, Bob, in 1957. They lived in San Diego until 1977 when they moved to Northwest Arkansas.
Mitzi was a homemaker most of her life. She was most proud of being a wife and mother of four children. She attended the University of Arkansas in later years and earned her nursing degree.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years Robert Stockalper Sr., son Robert Stockalper, Jr. and Stevie, son Michael Stockalper and wife Margaret, daughter Margo Brandhuber and husband Walter and son Ralph “Ben” Stockalper and wife Becky. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services for Mitzi are scheduled for 2:00pm on Saturday June 22, 2024 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.
