Jeanne Marie Smock (Vanous) was born March 28, 1949 in Omaha, NE and entered her eternal rest on March 3, 2021 at the age of 71 in Farmington, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack, parents, George and Frances Vanous, and her sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Ronald Kastner.

She is survived by her nephew Ryan (Jennifer) Kastner of Missouri Valley, IA; niece Stacey Kastner of Omaha, NE; great nephew and great niece Jason and Lindsey Kastner; Dan (Jennifer) Smock, grandchildren Justin and Cheyenne, Debbi (Roger) Benish, granddaughter Makenzie, and a host of in-laws, cousins, and friends.

Jeanne was a proud graduate of Omaha South High School and enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in cosmetology before retiring to Arkansas. She enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson with her husband Jack, and together the two traveled all over the country for many years. She was a faithful member of her church and loved by many.

Jeanne will be laid to rest next to her husband, Jack in Missouri. Memorials can be made to Cross Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
