Marjorie Ruth Fettinger, 96, of Winslow passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Winslow.  She was born September 7, 1916 in St Paul, MN the daughter Andrew and Fay Trower Hansen.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Lowell and had served as Lutheran Women’s Missionary President for Pacific Northwest District.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Albert Otto Fettinger.

Survivors include 1~daughter, Marilee Henderson and huband, Steve of Winslow; 1~grandson, Mark Henderson and wife, Jamie of Newark, TX; 1~great-grandson, Jarrett Henderson of Newark, TX; 1~sister, Marie Nelson and husband, Dick of Spooner, WI; 1~brother, Robert Hansen and wife, Martha of St. Paul, MN; 4~nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Fayetteville National Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. ~ 11:45 A.M at the Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

    Marilee, I’m so sorry for your loss. I never got to see your parents after I was old enough to remember them but enjoyed our visits on the phone until your Dad passed and then the letters with your Mom. They both were so enjoyable to visit with.

    It will take time to get over the loss now that they are both gone but as long as you keep them in your heart and in your mind, they will always be with you. That’s how I’ve kept going without Robbie, my husband.

    My prayers are with you.
