Mary Lou Colbert, 86, of Fayetteville entered into eternal life March 11, 2018. She was born September 22, 1931.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 60 years, MT Colbert; and great-grandson, Jackson Lee Graves.
Mary Lou worked for 24 years at the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. She had a passion for flowers and gardening and took great pride in maintaining a picture-perfect home. She was devoted to her family and friends as well as her pets. She is greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Bacon and husband, Tom of Elkins; her son, Kenneth Colbert of Saint Francis, ME; her granddaughters, Angie Graves and Jenn Matthews of Fayetteville; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Beard’s Chapel with private burial to follow.

My condolences to the family. I just printed the obituary for her son and placed it in a sheet protector since we are getting a Nor’ Easter here in Northern Maine today and he is walking back to his home here in St. Francis. Although, he will not make it to the funeral, his heart is heavy and he struggled to hold back the tears. Even though he is far from family, there are people here who care for him, especially during this difficult time. What a beautiful lady.
