
Melvin Salley, 57, of Fayetteville passed away July 31, 2018. He was born June 10, 1961 in Grenada, MS. to John Lee and Lula Mae Willis Salley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Robert Earl Salley and John Wesley Salley.
Melvin loved to dance and loved being with his grandchildren. He was a fantastic cook.
He is survived by a son, Isaiah Mahone of Fayetteville; 3 daughters, Tyleigh Mahone of Fayetteville, Shaunda Fullove and Deshae Brown of Fayetteville; his girlfriend, Patricia Huggins; a sister, Denise Salley of Fayetteville; 3 brothers, Andrew Salley of Fayetteville, Conrad Salley of Grenada, MS. and John Salley and wife, Diane of Grenada, MS; and 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Dwelling Place Church in Fayetteville with Reverend Laron Edwards officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service-time at the church.
Interment will follow in Oak Cemetery.
