Milida Ruth Bohannan, 82, of Springdale, Arkansas left this earth in the early morning on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, peacefully at home just the way she would have wanted. She was born on July 26, 1943 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to William Herbert and Ruby Francis Campbell. On April 13, 1963 she married the boy next door, James Clayton Bohannan Jr, beginning a long and happy marriage that lasted until he passed away on August 15, 2003.

Her greatest joy in life was being a wife and mother, and she was wonderful at both. She worked at several jobs over her lifetime, beginning at the soda fountain of a drug store near her home and including several years at both Baldwin Piano and Northwest Arkansas Vending in Fayetteville. She was an avid reader and also a big fan of Family Feud and Ancient Aliens on television. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her daughter Shelley Villarreal (Brock), son Brian (Melissa), grandsons Brian Pennington (Yoonshin) and Alex Bohannan, granddaughters Rachel Mueller (Jason) and Abby Bohannan, and great-grandson Theo Mueller. She is also survived by her sister Helen Van Buren and several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends and neighbors. Lastly she is survived by her beloved cats Mama and Jodi, who brightened her last months considerably and who also miss her already.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or service.  Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, please hug your loved ones in her memory.
