Norman Ray Moulden, 81, of Fayetteville passed away August 14, 2026. He was born June 5, 1945 in Fort Riley, KS to Elmer Ronald and Eleanor Kopsa Moulden.

He attended many schools growing up as his dad was in the military. Norman graduated from Elkins High School. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served from 08/12/63 to 08/20/69. He graduated from the US Naval Hospital Corps School in San Diego, CA on 05/20/65. Norman served in Vietnam as corpsman. His last duty assignment was aboard the U.S.S. Princeton.

Norman stayed in California until the early 70’s. He attended Fayetteville Business School. He had many different jobs from construction, factory work, car salesman, landlord (apartments and duplexes), and owner of Unfinished Furniture Store. His favorite was being a builder and contractor. He built apartments, duplexes, and two unusual houses with elevators for his family.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Lori Bryant.

Norman is survived by his wife Bernice J Mathias of the home, to whom he was married January 26, 1987; his daughters, Mia Moulden and Jennifer Casey (her husband Daniel); and 7 grandchildren, Brenna Casey, Amber Casey, Hannah Casey, Lauren Casey, Michelle Casey, Andrew Casey, and Jake McDaniel.
