Olen V. Ritter, Jr. 64, of Warrensburg, MO passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 in Branson.

He was born May 12, 1949 in Gravette, AR the son of Olen V. Sr. and Mary Lou Dugan Ritter.

Olen was retired as a Field Supervisor for Environmental Works and member of Heartland Church in Knob Noster, MO and also member of NRA and the Choctaw Nation.

He was preceded in death by his son, Chad Joshua-Jurett Ritter.

Survivors include his wife, Jody Nickell Ritter of the home; 2~children, Shawna Reynolds and husband, Tony of Warrensburg, MO and Seth Ritter of Kansas City, MO; 4~grandchildren, Kyler Reynolds, Kolin Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds and Joshua Ritter; 1~sister, Jana Lou Callaway of Durant, OK; several nieces,  nephews and loved ones.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, June 3, 2013 at Nickell Cemetery with Rev. Paul Dennis officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Nickell Cemetery in Durham, AR

Arrangements are by Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.

    I just learned of Olen’s passing. I attended Noel Elementary School from the 3rd through 8th grades and remember Olen with great fondness as I remember his parents and Uncle Harlon fondly. My deepest sympathies to others who shared the pleasure of knowing him.
