Opal Louise Dale Wallman, 85 of Fayetteville died on Monday, March 12, 2012 at North Hills Life Care and Rehab in Fayetteville. She was born October 24, 1926 in Pryor, Oklahoma to Alva and Carrie Dale.     She was a beautiful woman, both in looks and in her heart. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren who called her “GiGi” and her great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Melvin Dale Larry Dale and Alvin Dale and; two sisters, Marie Spence and Clara Sallaz.

Survivors include her son, David Acker and wife Mary Anne of Maui, Hawaii; three daughters, Judith Kelley and husband Bob of Prior Lake, Minnesota, Kathryn Goodfellow and husband Scott of Indianapolis, Indiana, Rebekah Litzinger and husband Joe of Fayetteville; sister, Lola Jacobson of LaCygne, Kansas; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the North Hills staff for the excellent, compassionate care they gave Opal during the last years of her life.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, Monday, March 19, 2012 at North Hills Life Care and Rehab 27 East Appleby Rd. Fayetteville, AR 72703. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Beards Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
