Oren B. Hays, 87, of Winslow, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 at his home. He was born March 5, 1936 in Winslow, AR to Samuel Floyd and Effie Smith Hays.

He was a lineman for the cable company for 37 years. He loved hunting and spending-time on his land. He was a proud Dad and Papa.

Oren is survived by his wife of 54 years, Robbie Hays of the home; daughter, Deborah Meadors (Randall) of Winslow; daughter, Amy Simco of Winslow; son, Kendall Hays (Janet) of Winslow; 7 grandchildren, Kendra, Kaitlyn, Eber, Wyatt, Abby, Gracie, and Kaylea; 4 great-grandchildren, Bo, Oren, Rhett, and Kinsley; and many other friends and family.

No services are scheduled.

Cremation arrangements by Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

      Sorry to hear about Oren I live in Colorado but visit Kathy and Mike my sister and brother in law who live up the road from Oren almost every year since the early 90s and always enjoyed going over and seeing Oren he was always so nice and I loved listening to him tell stories and he even let me hunt on his property once which was so nice my girls and I will be there next week and we’ll drive by and wave and say hi I know he’ll be watching
