Owen “Jack” Oxford, 58 of Fayetteville died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 after a brave battle with cancer. He was born April 8, 1953 the son of Bert and Lola Gray-Oxford and was a lifelong
resident of Fayetteville.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers, James, Bill, and Raymond Oxford and sister, Peggy Morris.

Jack was an electrician with King Electric for many years. He was most recently employed at the Fayetteville Senior Center.

Survivors include his sister, Mary Watkins of Cypress, TX; brother in law, Larry Morris of Prairie Grove;  nieces, Sarah McGinnis-Cox, Carol McGinnis-Bellas, Betty Jo Morris, Laura Watkins, and Melanie Watkins;  nephews, Scott Watkins and Peter Watkins, and many other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 to2PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Beard’s Chapel with Pastor Charlie Brown officiating. Private burial will be in Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Beards Chapel.
