wells-paul-copyPaul Breckenridge Wells, 73, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 10, 2016. He was born on August 25, 1943 in Rockford, IL. to Chester and Annetta Wells.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shawna Boor.

He had 4 siblings, Robert Wells, Jean Langholf, Betty Loudenbeck and Helen Kohlner.

He married Frances Parrish on September 17, 1961. They had 4 children, Shawna, Breck, Shelley and Bradley.

Paul enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He was a machinist by trade. He worked at Easco Hand Tools for many years and also worked at A.M.F. Head Ski in Boulder, CO.

Paul is survived by his wife, Frances of 55 years; son, Breck Wells; daughter, Shelley Kay and son Bradley Wells. He was also blessed with 10 grandkids and 5 great-grandkids. He also loved his beloved toy Pomeranian, Quigley, who brought him through some tough times while enduring chemotherapy treatments.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Beard’s Chapel with Reverend Paul Payne officiating. Private interment will be in Friendship Cemetery in Springdale under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the funeral home.

    Dear Fran, I am so sorry for your loss. Paul meant a lot to me. He gave guidance without even knowing he was doing it. My prayers are with you and the family.

    Fran and family, there are no words to say how sad we are for you all. He fought long and hard.
