    I am very thankful to have known him for my entire life. He was inspirational to me when I needed it. Always insightful. Always forthcoming & never fearful of the truth. Vibrant and electric with compassion. He changed my life very early on. He opened my eyes to new horizons and possibilities. I hold him in my heart forever and I am forever grateful to have experienced his love. Thank you to his entire family, especially my old brothers Daryll and Adam. This is supposed to be “Condolences”, but I’m going to make it a “Celebration”.

    A celebration of R-e-a-l-l-y L-o-n-g talks and *laughs* on the phone, and

    A lifetime connection, and a special bond, and

    A Grateful Heart, and

    Inspiration, Insight, Compassion and Perspective, and

    A Special Bond and A Mentor.

    { Obviously, He is missed. }

    To:
    Linda, Daryll and Adam.
    Erin, Jade-Li, and Kia-Li.

    From me.
    And each of you

    ( I couldn’t find better words so I pilfered those from the Sweets, Reeves, OConnell, Fortuna, and Privette’s from this post )

    Forever Friend

    I lost a piece of me today… A very special man has passed away. His words I’ll not hear ever again… oh why did you leave me my dear friend. We had so many plans now what will I do… how am I supposed to finish our song without you. To give me the words and your inspiration… or simply listening to you talk the whole conversation. Henry will never be heard the same…only you called me that instead of my own name. The sound of your laughter will ring in my ears …Lord thank you for him in my life for all of these many years. Boy this is hard I can’t believe that he is gone. ..just please one more call ill make sure the ringers on . No more, but i know you’d expect me to just carry on . Dear God I’m gonna miss you its almost too much… In time maybe my heart will heal, I”ll write that song for us , I promise I will.
    I’ll cherish every single word you said to me .. in my heart forever is where you will always be. So many life lessons you taught to me…thank you for opening my eyes to see.. You were a great man, a true hero in my eyes…Sir Rex Dodge can you please just stay with me for the rest of my life! All my love forever and always, Henry .

    Erin and family, I am really saddened at the loss of Rex. My father, Richard Privette, really loved Rex and valued his friendship. He meant a lot to my family and I pray comfort and peace to you and yours.
    God Bless.
