Richard Allen Stowers, 84, of Elkins, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at his home. He was born November 23, 1940 in Bernie, WV to Don Ray and Pearl May Elkins Stowers. He moved to NWA in 1962.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty; sisters, Reba, Lillian, and Anna Lou; and brothers, Bill, Dana, Luster, Cody, and Dearl.

Richard retired from the City of Springdale Road Department. He enjoyed fox hunting. Richard served the Lord for over 50 years.

He is survived by a son Anthony Stowers; two daughters, Marsha Mulanax and Donna Cunningham; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at New Beginnings Baptist Church, 18204 E. Black Oak Rd, Elkins, AR with Pastor Anthony Stowers and Chris Shadrick officiating.

Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Crosses, AR.

There is no scheduled visitation.
