Sending all of my love and condolences to the Nickell family. I had the great privilege and honor of working with Richard toward the end of his life. I will not forget his great sense of humor, ornery demeanor, and kind heart. I will greatly miss our weekly visits and rubbing that bald head for good luck! Until we meet again in the sweet by and by, fly high sweet friend and good and faithful servant of the Lord.

    My Sweetest Uncle Richard,
God picked the sweetest fruit off the tree when He called You to come Home. We will miss your laughter, smiles, mischief. This earth will never be the same with out You. You were the finest man I ever knew. God’s example of a Christian, and what that means. Everyone in heaven is smiling to see You, while we here on earth will try to carry on. We all loved you so.
