My heart just hurts. Ricky was such a warm and caring man not to mention quite the character! He made me laugh every day at work. I am so sorry for the family’s loss.
Rick was a special person and always went out of his way to help people. I worked with him for several years and always admired his dedication. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed being with other employees. He will truly be missed. RIP Rick.
I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. I know that this will be a great loss for many. I’ve worked, and been friends with Rick over the last 18 years. He was a good man and a dedicated worker. I have tracked leave time in our office most of that time and used to get on to him for not planning and using leave he accrued. He avoided using it because he was afraid his absence would cause trouble for the work palace. When I related the leave time to money he was giving away, he reassessed. One thing he apparently wasn’t good at was resting. He gardened, raised chickens, and worked in his community on top of full-time work. Once he stopped working, he would contact me regularly to see we needed him to come back, which he did multiple times. He helped me at my house several times and was generous with his time when someone was in need. Though he didn’t look to favourably on people who lacked putting effort into their lives, he had a big heart and would try to assist anyone. He loved his mother and family. I will miss him.
So sorry to hear. I thought a lot of Rick and his family. God bless you.

So sorry for your loss, he will be dearly missed by many, our thoughts and prayers are with all, so many precious memories that everyone has.
Marsha and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Rick will be missed not only for everything he did as a volunteer to the community and WCCA but also because he was a wonderful person in himself. While at the Employment office he went out of his way to find jobs for Winslow people, especially young people just starting out in life. He worked hard in everything he did. One day he came in City Hall and showed me scads of pictures of the car he just finished restoring. He was so proud of it and rightly so.
