Rita Sue Stewart Campbell, 70, of Keiser, AR, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her home. She was born at the City Hospital in Fayetteville on April 18, 1953, the first child of George Raymond Stewart and Clara Margaret Titus Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Rita had a love of her beloved dogs and was very good with horses. She had been an over the road truck driver and a waitress. Rita enjoyed the sound of a Peterbilt. She was known to be someone that when a truck driver would try to pass, to have you flash your lights to let them know they were clear to get back over in the lane. Rita would then giggle when they would flash their lights on the trailer to say “thank you”.
She is survived by her husband Robert Campbell of the home; her sister Donna Stewart Bolinger of Springdale, AR; a nephew Jason Halsten Bolinger of Springfield, MO; two nieces, Lindsay Bolinger Mayville of Ft. Smith, AR and Brandi Bolinger of Huntsville, AR.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday, August 25, 2023 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be 10:00 Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Beard’s Chapel with Chaplains Jacqueline Eakins and Enrique Sanchez officiating. Interment will follow in McCord Cemetery in Elkins.
Rita you were one of a kind. You will be missed. Robert, Donna you have our deepest sympathy.
