Robert Drain, 71, of Farmington, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 in Fayetteville. He was born October 8, 1950 in Fayetteville to Bill and Lillie Mae Rose Lenora Ellis Drain.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Carolyn Drain; and two brothers Roy and Bud Drain.
He was “The Greatest Dad and Poppie”. Robert was an Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He loved his dogs and animals. Robert was a jack-of-all trades. He enjoyed tinkering in his shop. He was selfless and big-hearted. Robert touched many lives. He was always there for anyone in need. Robert was always laughing and was quite “the joker”.
Robert is survived by his girlfriend Sue Robbins of Farmington; his daughter Tammy Drain of Fayetteville; and 5 grandchildren, Tivon and Takoda Hites and Tova, Paisley and Ashlyn Drain.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Beard’s Chapel.
I knew Robert all my life. School mostly. Love him. He was one of the last people I talked to when moving to Florida in 2003.I am so so sorry for the family loss. May God be with you all.
