henson1-copyRodney Scott Henson, 39, of Rosalia, KS. passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in El Dorado, KS.  He was born August 19, 1977 in Fayetteville to Landan and Mary K. Henson.

He was a mill hand operator for Ergon, Inc.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.  Rodney loved his family dearly.

He is survived by his parents, Landan and Mary Henson; his children, Brandon and Alissa Henson, both of the home; mother of his children of 18 years, Lisa Volk Henson; 4 brothers, Jeffery Henson of Gulfport, MS, Chris Henson of Shawnee, OK., Jay Henson of Mountainburg, AR. and Michael Wakefield of Chester, AR.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 12, 2016 at Hyland Park Assembly of God with Brother Roy Biswell officiating.  Interment will follow in Coil-Center Cemetery in Winslow under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the funeral home.
