Ronald Duane Springston Sr, 74, of St. Paul, Arkansas passed away on October 21, 2026 surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 3, 1951 to Orval and Nathalene Springston. He was an avid classic car enthusiast in his younger years, loved listening to music with friends and family telling stories, and served as the current mayor of St. Paul, Arkansas.

Ron was preceded in death by both parents, Orval and Nathalene Springston; his wife, Karen Springston; step-daughter Nikki Welch; and grandson, Christopher Welch.

He is survived by his children, Ron Springston Jr and wife Katrina of Elkins, Kristy Bingaman and husband Shannon of Elkins and Sandy Eaton of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Daniel Welch, Seth Springston, Kara Springston, Madison Eaton, Lucas Eaton & Abigail Eaton; two great- grandchildren, Everleigh Springston and Miles Springston; and his longtime companion, Norma Preston.

Graveside services will be Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM at McCord Cemetery in Elkins, Arkansas.

There is no scheduled visitation.
