Ronald Joe Stout, aged 72, of West Fork, AR, passed away on November 6, 2024. Born on October 21, 1952, Ronald led a life marked by dedication to his craft, an adventurous spirit, and a deep love for his family and the outdoors.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Diane; daughter Rene and her husband Paul; son Scotty and his wife Chrissy; four cherished grandchildren (Joe, Travis, Olivia & Makenzie) who knew him as their strong, supportive “Papa”; his brother Larry, and sisters Shirley and Donna. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous extended family members who admired him deeply. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayman and Beatrice.

Ronald’s journey began early, working at a car wash and delivering newspapers as a young teen, instilling a strong work ethic that shaped his life. He spent 15 years working as a tree surgeon, mastering the art of tree care, and later transitioned into carpentry, where he devoted 28 years. Ronald’s skilled hands crafted not only structures but also a legacy of strength and integrity, leaving an indelible mark on his community.

An enthusiast of the great outdoors, Ronald found peace and joy in nature. He had a passion for fishing, hiking, camping, and bike riding. He explored the world through scuba diving, shared his gardening talents with neighbors, and was always up for a new project, often tinkering with anything that caught his interest. Known for his generous heart and welcoming smile, Ronald made friends easily and was always willing to lend a hand.

Ronald will be remembered for his resilience, his humor, and the unwavering love he showed his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at the Strickler Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
