I am saddened to hear that Sandra has passed. I enjoyed working with her, but mostly, I enjoyed the many discussions we had on so many subjects. Sandra knew so much about books, music, and current events. She was an avid reader, and it was a pleasure to listen to her speak about what she was currently reading. Every time I saw her coming down the hall, she had a smile and some witty comment on something that had happened or something she had read. Sandra was also a positive influence upon the students in our school because she always had a good word for them. I feel privileged to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband and sons. She spoke with such pride of them.

You, Sam, and the boys have been such awesome neighbors to Mom and Dad. The mountainside has a big ol’ hole in it’s heart without her sweet earthly presence to fill it. She’s gone on up to hold a place for you. God bless you with what you need to get through this.
