Shirley Ann Harris, 78, of Lowell passed peacefully into her heavenly home on August 4, 2018. She was born in West Fork, Arkansas to Henry Archie and Mabel Jewel Ralston on June 19, 1940.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kirksey; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
She will be dearly missed by her brother, Bob of Fayetteville, AR; brother, Walter of Rolla, MO; brother, Floyd of Henderson, TX; sister, Dolly Ward of Ozark, AR; daughter, Bea and husband Mitch Fosmore of Beaumont, CA; daughter, Nina Harris of Carson, CA; son, Alan and wife Susan of Lowell, AR; son, Kenny and wife Johnnie of Lowell, AR; and son, Danny and wife Deanne of Springdale, AR; 11 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
On Thursday, August 9, 2018, a procession will begin at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, AR. at 10:30 with committal services at the National Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.

But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord

Shirley was a good mother in law. She took time to listen to us and give good advice. She was the matriarch of our family and we all benefitted from her sage advice and quick humor. Rest In Peace Shirley.
