Stephen Gary Baucom, 75, of Rogers, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 in Hot Springs, AR. He was born June 5, 1948 in Fayetteville to Bruce and Betty Baucom.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bruce and Betty Baucom; a sister Deborah Jean Jenkins; a half-brother Michael Roberts; paternal grandparents Arthur and Mary Stonesifer Baucom; and maternal grandparents Jess Wilson, Edith Huff Wilson and Blanche Emmons.

Steve graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1966. He was a Regional Manager in the convenience store industry for many years. He loved the beach and going to the horse races in Hot Springs, which is how he spent his last days.

He is survived by one son Brooks Baucom (Dixie); two daughters Tara Joyner (Regan) and Kristy Thieman (Keith); a sister Judy Bassett; a brother Ronnie Baucom; a half-brother Robert Bruce Baucom (Maurene); 4 grandchildren, Miller Baucom, Jase Joyner, Robert Thieman (Taylor), and Matthew Thieman (Brianne); 4 great-grandchildren, Greyson Saxon and Blakely, Emberly, and Judah Thieman; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fayetteville.

There is no scheduled visitation.
