Jeremy and I love Summers like a daughter and are distraught that we won’t see her smiling face in person again. There was NEVER a time we saw her that she didn’t have a genuine smile. And there will never be a time that we won’t remember her, and we won’t be able to close our eyes and see that smile. We know that consciousness does not have a beginning and an end, and the energy of Summer will stay with all of those who knew and love her every season of the year.

Summer was appropriately named–she was always warm, bright and cheery and she brightened everyone’s day. The world is a better place just because she was in it and I am a better person just from having known her.

It made me sick when I heard the news. Summer was supposed to get a transplant and out live us all. You and I were supposed to be in-laws. Summer was so special. I cannot imagine what you are going through. Just know you raise a fantastic daughter.

Frou, I was very sad to hear the news about Summer. There is not a whole lot that one can say at these times but I know that all of the old gang at the city have been thinking of you. Hope you are able to remember all the good times and celebrate her life.

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Summer through Andy with the Extraordinary Pin Blasters bowling team. She had such a wonderful way of speaking and interacting with our special needs adults. She will be missed by all that knew this caring young woman.

Frou and family, I personally know the sadness of losing a child. It will be a forever pain. But the memories will rise above the pain-that is what will always be with you to hold dear. Those happy times and photos are yours to keep and remember. Know that I am here to do anything for you, please ask.
