Sylvia was such a kindhearted soul, With a smile that came easily and Spontaneous laughter. My uncle Bob was so in love with her as she was with him! She will be greatly missed.
Nick and Jennifer our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Sincerely, Mike and Joan Brothers
Our families shared so many great experiences through the years in Fairfax. Taking kids to preschool, breakfasts with Santa, chopping down Christmas trees, hosting Christmas parties, cheering on the Redskins and countless other interactions that made daily life better because we were friends. She will always be “Sylba” to us, as 2 year old Catherine, named her.
We loved her and cherish her memory. Wishing you Love and Peace from The Burke Family
I met Sylvia many years ago at FUMC. Many great memories over the years as we raised our families. I shall never forget this dear friend who sat at the hospital with my husband thru my 7 hrs of emergency surgery. Our last visit was here at my condo. She loved to shop, walk on the beach and swim. My love and thoughts are with all the family.
I started nursing school with Sylvia in Boston we were great friends, visited with her in St.Johnsbury but lost touch over the years. Trying to find her and came across her obituary. I am very saddened bt this news. My heart goes out to her family and friends who had the pleasure of knowing this wonderful woman
