Teresa Ann Derfler, 58, of Winslow passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born November 20, 1954 in Waukegan, Illinois to J.W and Virginia Jamerson. She was preceded in death by her father and granddaughter, Jaina Spradlin. Survivors include her mother, Virginia Jamerson of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois; son, Derek Rush and wife Brittney of Winslow; daughter, Uli Spradlin and husband Donald of West Fork; sister, Angela Gilmore and husband James of Waukegan, Illinois; brother, Kerry Jamerson and wife Emi of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren, Zach Pettey, Roca Rush and Dylan Pettey all of Winslow, Presley Labeff of Springdale and Christian Bryant of Madison County and several other family members and friends. A graveside service will be held 4 PM Monday, September 30, 2013 with Bro. Jerry Bromley officiating. Burial will be at Freedom Cemetery in Winslow under the direction of Beard’s Funeral Chapel. Terri was one of my oldest friends. She and I loved to reminisce about Moser and our dorm antics. She was a wonderful friend. I loved her as a sister. I told her when my time is done here, we’ll meet and have a party. She laughed. I will miss talking to her. We were all blessed to have known her.
