Thomas L. Williams, Jr (T.L.), 83, of Fayetteville, AR passed away on July 19, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas L. and Mamie Williams; his wife Sarah Ann Williams; two brothers Leon Williams and Eugene Williams; and two sisters Imogene Elam and Nelda Jo Martin.
T.L. was born on December 6, 1938 in Spur, TX and was a graduate of Midland High School. He married his high school sweetheart Sarah Ann Byrd. He served in the U.S. Air Force achieving the rank of Staff Sargent. T.L. worked in the grocery industry and owned Wilco Enterprises which operated several convenience stores over the years in the Fayetteville area. He was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by his sons, Rex Williams and wife Diane and Jim Bob Williams and wife Neeley; grandchildren, Justin Williams and wife Jordan and Jansen Williams; and great-grandchildren Garrett and Avery. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be 5:30 PM Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.
