Thomas (Tom) Randolph Laney, 83 of Fayetteville, passed away after a long battle with Leukemia on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Circle of Life in Springdale. He was born on September 8, 1935 in Fayetteville, AR to Thomas Everett Laney and Muril Snyder Laney.
He served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Oriskany and was stationed at Great Lakes. Tom was also a retired chef for over 60 years in restaurants in the area.
Survivors include: two sons, David Laney of Bentonville and Keith Laney of Dardanelle, one daughter, Hope Laney Dorman of Fayetteville, two brothers; Wayne and Gary Fincher, and one sister, Wanda Walker, three grandchildren, Brandon Laney and his girlfriend Whitney White of Rogers, Alex Laney of Norman, Oklahoma, Laney Dorman of Prairie Grove and one great-grandchild, Lincoln Laney of Rogers.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Beards Funeral Chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. till 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Im so sorry, hes gone he was like a brother to me. I loved him dearly and will. Miss him always lm sure hes in the arms of jesus telling about it. Tommy took care of me , l was 2 and he was 14. I remember the frozen kool ade he made. Boy was that good! Hope to see you tommy. Some day save me a spot. Sue
