
Tommy Darlene Kaney, age 67, of Fayetteville, AR passed away April 22, 2019 at UAMS in Little Rock after her long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born June 22, 1951 in Woodlake, CA to Thomas Avery and Virginia Viola Hancock.
She graduated from Denison High School in Denison, TX. Darlene married her high school sweetheart DeWayne Kaney, May 2, 1969 and they moved to Arkansas shortly after.
Darlene worked at Levi Strauss for over 25 years. She was a skilled seamstress, a dog lover, and a master of the slot machines. She was a strong, loving and caring wife, daughter, mother, mother-in-law and MeMe.
She is survived by her sons, Denny Kaney and wife, Stormie and Ben Kaney of Fayetteville; daughter-in-law, Pam Kaney of West Fork; her grandsons, Avery and Alexzander Kaney and Jordan Ryals; her mother, Virginia Hancock; brother, Glenn Hancock of Elkins; and sister-in-law Linda Krieger of Springdale.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, DeWayne Kaney; her father, Avery Hancock; and her sister, Marlynn Williams.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Tommy Darlene Kaney will be held from 6-8 PM Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Beard’s Funeral Chapel.

I always looked and thought about Dewayne and Darlene every time by the house as Dewayne was like a Brother and now it has been 45 plus years that I knew Darlene. God Bless you Guys. Larry Nixon
