Trenton Dale Pretty, a resident of Elkins, Arkansas, passed away January 30, 2018, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born December 8, 1977, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Tony and Beverly Pretty of Elkins.
He was a 1996 graduate of Elkins High School. Trenton served 21 years in law enforcement, starting as a dispatcher for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in 1997. He attended the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2000 (Basic Class 2000B-NW) and worked as a patrolman for the Elkins Police Department and Farmington Police Department, before returning to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in 2005, where he was promoted to the rank of Corporal in the Transport Division.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tony and grandparents, Dale Callaway and Edward and Clara Pretty.
Survivors include his loving wife, Laura Pretty; sons, Cooper Pretty and Easton Pretty; daughter, McKenzie Pretty; his mother, Beverly Callaway Pretty; brother, Travis Pretty and his wife, Sunny; sister, Tonette Pretty Weathers and her husband, Kasey; maternal grandmother, Fonda Callaway of Pettigrew; father and mother-in-law, Doug and Robin Moore; brothers and sisters-in-law, Josh and Kendra Moore and Dean and Misty Cheatham; numerous aunts and uncles; 10 nieces and nephews; many other friends and family; as well as, his brothers and sisters in Law Enforcement at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Center Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Visitation for family and friends will be at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 5-7 P.M.
Interment will be in Kings Cemetery under the direction of Beard’s Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Laura Pretty Benefit Fund Account set-up for the family at any Arvest Bank.

All the memories are such blessings of growing up with Trenton as my cousin, one of many who were actually my first friends in life. Those times are beyond any measure a treasure to me.
